Gotten

So nice to see your face again
Tell me how long has it been
Since you've been here
(since you've been here)
You look so different than before
But still the person I adore
Frozen with fear
I'm out of love but I'll take it from the past
I'll let out words cause I'm sure It'll never last

And I've been saving
These last words for one last miracle
But now I'm not sure
I can't save you if
You don't let me
You just get me like I never
Been gotten before

Maybe it's the bitter wind
A chill from the Pacific rim
That brought you this way
(that brought you my way)
Do not make me think of him
The way he touch your fragile skin

That hunts me everyday
I'm out of love but I can't forget the past
I'm out of words but I'm sure it'll never last

And I've been saving
These last words for one last miracle
But now I'm not sure
I can't save you if
You don't let me
You just get me like I never
Been gotten before
Like I never been gotten before

So nice to see you face again
But tell me will this ever end?
Don't disappear

And I've been saving
These last words for one last miracle
But now I'm not sure
I can't save you if
You don't let me
You just get me like I never
Been gotten before
Like I never been gotten before

Final Boss

I had a friend during High School who told me this:

In the end, you have to fight on your own.

Not the exact words, but, well, parang ganun. I forgot what the situation was kung bakit niya nasabi yun. All I remember is nasa computer lab kami noon. I never forgot that moment.

The boy who cried "Forced Labor"

I had to skip my android review blog post for this.

Stupid kid.

Balita ko nagkakaroon na rin ng batas dito sa Pilipinas tungkol sa pagbabawal ng pamamalo, at iba pang uri ng parusa na pwedeng ibigay ng mga magulang sa mga anak nila. I hope this won't make the cut. I didn't like being spanked when I was a kid, but I believe it is very important in teaching them a lesson.

Parents these days are becoming too kind---to the point that they're no longer "the boss", or as Cesar Millan would put it: the Alpha.

Google Android Review, Tutorial, Tips, and Apps Part 1

Apat na buwan na rin mula nung binili ko itong android phone ko. Mula noon, halos nawala na yung interes ko sa iPhone (maliban na lang kung libre). Ang binili kong model ay Samsung i5510. It's a mid-range phone... just enough for my needs:

Specifications:
OS: Android 2.2 Froyo
Processor: 667Mhz
Internal Memory/RAM: 384Mb
Memory: SDHC
Camera: 3.2 Megapixels
other features:
- slide out qwerty keyboard
- DLNA capable

The first thing an android phone user should know: how to maximize your google account/s. I use almost ALL of the basic Google stuff like Gmail, Google Docs, Calendar, Bookmarks and Chrome. The great thing about Google services, is that they work together like a charm. If you create a contact in Gmail, for example. If you included the contact's birthday info, it will automatically be marked on your calendar. No need to manually create an event.

Whenever I make a new contact in my phone, I save the new entry to my Gmail account instead of using the phone's internal phonebook. You can save a new contact to your gmail account even if you're not connected to the internet---it will sync the next time you connect.

Minsan pag tinatamad akong magbukas ng phone (habang nakaharap sa PC) at may kailangan akong isave na number, nagbubukas na lang ako ng Gmail at dun ko sine-save--mas masarap magtype sa malaking keyboard ( more on this later ;D )

Your Gmail account can also be used with the Android Market (obviously). Pag tinatamad [pa rin] ako, at kailangan kong magdownload ng bagong app for my phone, I go to the android market and "install" an app via my Gmail account --while my phone is offline. By the time I get home, or if ever I accidentally enter a free wi-fi zone, my app will be downloaded automagically (take that, Steve Jobs!). This happened once in Robinsons Galleria: Hindi ko napansin na on yung wifi ko. By the time I boarded a bus and checked my phone, the app was already there. I heard that this feature will [only] be added to the iOS (aka iPhone OS) by September.
