Posts

I'm tired of Facebook. Not because everybody's there, but because of the negativity, the posts regarding mundane stuff, etc....but that's what social networking is all about, for you to know if the spoonful of rice has already reached someone's mouth, and the daily update of a friend's bowel movement and whatnot...

If I was a criminal, I could have already robbed houses, stolen identities, blackmailed, probably even access someone's bank account just by looking at their status posts, info, and check-ins.

I've set many of my facebook so-called "friends" (see the emphasis?) posts to hidden because of extreme negativity. I even unfriended and blocked one of my uncles because majority of his posts contained the word p*tang!na...After a day's work, the last thing you want to see in facebook is a wall-full of p*tang!na's to end your day.

Recently I have blocked another "friend" due to severe oddity. I've been wondering why there are chung-chung-park's* birthday celebration and soon-sdfkjhk-han's concert invitations on the right sidebar of my page...and then I checked who among my friends signed up for those events. His name popped up on the invitations. Those events will be held in Korea and in Peru.

On the other hand, I have another
"friend" who I don't mind when she floods my wall with her twitter-facebook crossposts. She's a close friend of one of our choirmates. We met her only once, but our group easily got along with her.
